Local ‘inspection’ highlights the outstanding features of the college
On Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 November the college welcomed a team of Headteachers and Deputy Headteachers from other local schools into the college to ‘inspect’ our provision. Led by an experienced Ofsted Inspector, the team observed lessons, spoke to students, interviewed Leaders and Governors and reviewed our progress data.
In their professional and detailed scrutiny of the college they found that leadership and management at every level was outstanding. This included how students lead, particularly at Post 16, through to classroom teachers, Subject and Senior Leaders, and Governors.
Achieving Excellence Together
The vision and values of Groby Community College, and the wider Groby-Brookvale 11-19 Learning Campus, are based around the simple concept that for all of our students to have the best possible future then we need to be consistently outstanding in everything that we do.
